Within Guilford Public Schools, the Department of Pupil Services ensures that all children with disabilities between the ages of 3 and 21 will receive a free appropriate public education (FAPE) in the least restrictive environment (LRE).

The Guilford Public School System also includes a preschool program that offers a continuum of services including speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and social skills instruction. Pupil Services organizes Child Find screening sessions by appointment.
